Opposite Direction

Αεροπλάνα - Airplanes move us, relatively fast, from one place to another. They represent the φυσική - physical movement in space, our ability to change locations with ease. My favorite sea birds, τα γλαροπούλια-gulls, represent thought and the freedom of the human spirit to choose its location at any time. Thought moves much faster than any human constructed machine. In this piece, the body and the thought follow opposite directions, a reality evident only to the particular traveller and one that is contrary to everyone else's visible reality.
